 Now I'd love to share how our incredible journey began.

My Love Affair:
with food began at an early age while living with my grandmother Estelle. She would take me on weekly fishing trips to the local "fishing holes" in our small town in North Carolina. Once home, I would delight in being a part of the various preparations of our catch. We baked, fried, grilled, broiled, and even dried and salted some of the fish to be enjoyed well into the winter months. It was just one of the many delicious foods that she would share with me before returning home to New Jersey to live permanently with my Mom and Dad. 
And So It Continues
My arrival to NJ with my mom were happy times spent with us watching two of her favorite shows, The Galloping Gourmet, Julia Child, and spending time as her unofficial Sous-Chef ( not paid, of course) : ) before I even knew that the title existed. I was introduced to many cultures through food and its means as socialization through community/church food events where they sought after my mom for her culinary talents. It would be many years before I realized that not every household ate five course daily meals. Meals that ranged from black-eyed peas on Sunday to Greek Moussaka on Friday. My love affair with food continued into young adulthood; Accompanied by a desire to visit original places of the foods that my palate had already become used to enjoying.
Fast Forward 2006
Before 2006 I traveled and ate my way through some pretty adventurous places and started forming groups of family and friends to join along. But it wasn't until 2006 that I had my "Aha Moment." I joined my love and passion for all things culinary with travel that United Sisters Travel Group (USTG) was born. USTG is now a full-service travel agency based in Lehigh County, PA. We have spent over 15 years ensuring that your travel dreams are a success.
